COS Coupons & Promo Codes – October 2026: 10% Welcome Offer, Student Savings and Free Shipping
A $279 cashmere sweater is easier to justify when you're paying less for it, and when the shipping and returns don't quietly add another $13. COS doesn't post a public sitewide code on its US site, but it does run several real, verifiable discounts. Here's every one we found in October 2026, plus how to stack the small savings that people usually miss.

Is There a COS Promo Code?
Not a public one. We didn't find a sitewide code printed on the COS US site in October 2026. The codes COS does hand out are personal: the 10% welcome code arrives after you join the newsletter, and the student and essential-worker codes come from Student Beans and Gocertify after you verify. COS's customer service section confirms that discount codes are entered at checkout. Any new public offer will appear on our COS deals page.
One thing to watch: some products, including the Pure cashmere crew-neck sweater and the Pure cashmere beanie, were tagged "Excluded from offer" when we checked. So read the product page before you count on a percentage coming off.
Deal 1: 10% Off Your First Order
The COS newsletter sign-up offers 10% off your first order, along with news on new collections, events and exclusive offers. On a $129 pair of Signature jeans, that's about $12.90 back in your pocket. Sign up before you build your bag so the code is ready at checkout.
Deal 2: 10% Student Discount
Students with a valid Student Beans account can get 10% off online at cos.com. Log in at Student Beans, verify, collect your code and enter it at checkout. COS says it's valid on full-price and sale items but can't be combined with other offers.
Deal 3: 10% Essential Workers Discount
If you can verify your employment as an essential worker through Gocertify, COS gives 10% off online. The same rules apply: full-price and sale items, no stacking with other offers.
Deal 4: Free Shipping and Free Returns
Economy shipping normally costs $5 (4–7 business days), but it's free on orders over $150 when you sign in or become a member. Membership is free. A Pure cashmere beanie ($110) plus a Clean cut t-shirt ($45) clears the bar at $155. If something doesn't fit, return it at a COS store: in-store returns are free, while mail returns deduct $8 from your refund. Collect in Store is free too, at selected locations.

COS Coupon FAQ
Does COS have a first-order discount?
Yes. Signing up for the COS newsletter gets you 10% off your first order.
Can I combine the student discount with another code?
No. COS says the student and essential-worker discounts can't be combined with other offers, though they do work on sale items.
What's the free shipping minimum?
Economy shipping is free on orders over $150 when you sign in or become a member. Otherwise it's $5.
Does COS offer price adjustments if something goes on sale?
No. COS states it does not accept price adjustments, so if you're eyeing a piece, decide whether to wait for a sale before you buy.
The Bottom Line
The smartest COS order starts with the 10% welcome code (or a student or essential-worker code), lands above $150 while you're signed in for free shipping, and gets returned in store if anything misses. Check our COS deals page before you buy.
