Pact Review 2026: Organic Cotton Basics You'll Reach for Every Morning

It's 7:40 on a Tuesday. Coffee in one hand, you pull on a tee, then the leggings, then the cardigan, and nothing itches, rides up or needs a second thought. That easy, no-decision getting-dressed moment is what Pact (often styled PACT) builds its whole closet around: everyday tees, dresses, loungewear, underwear and even bed sheets made with GOTS-certified organic cotton in Fair Trade Certified™ factories.

We went through Pact's lineup, prices, fabric details and policies in October 2026. Here's what you get for your money, which pieces suit which person, and how to pay less than the tag price.

The Story: Boulder Design, Fair Trade Production

Pact says its organic essentials are "designed in Boulder, Colorado and made with Fair Trade partners around the world." The company's stated mission is to "make getting dressed an act of self-care" while pushing the apparel industry toward something better for people and the planet. Its tagline sums up the attitude: Dress Yourself Well.

Why not make everything in the U.S.? Pact's help center answers that plainly: it manufactures close to where its organic cotton is grown, which cuts down on shipping and lets it work directly with the farming communities behind the fabric. It's a clear, upfront answer to a question plenty of shoppers ask.

What Makes Pact Different: The Certifications Behind the Comfort

Plenty of labels say "organic." Pact backs the word with two independent standards, and it explains both on its site:

  • GOTS-certified organic cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard covers the whole chain, from farming and processing to manufacturing, social criteria, storage and packaging. Pact says its cotton is grown without synthetic fertilizers or genetically modified seeds, and that strict rules govern how the fabric is washed, dyed and finished.
  • Fair Trade Certified™ factories. Pact says Fair Trade certification means fair wages, safe working conditions, worker representation and community development funds, all checked through independent audits.
  • GOTS-approved dyes. The brand says it never uses disperse dyes or AZO dyes that rely on heavy metals, and that its clothing is free of PFAS and BPA.
  • Vegan. Pact says its clothing contains no animal byproducts in the fabrics or dyes.

Fabric content is listed on every product. Many pieces are 100% organic cotton. Others add a little stretch where it matters: the Fit & Flare Wrap Dress is 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane, and the CloudKnit Hoodie is 97% / 3%. So you get a dress that moves with you through a long day, and leggings that snap back instead of bagging out at the knees by lunchtime.

Fit & Flare or Roam: which dress?

Go Fit & Flare if you want shape. The wrap version ties at the waist and has 5% elastane, so it holds its line through a full day. Pact's help center says several Fit & Flare styles, such as the Midi and Square Neck, have hidden seam pockets and a built-in bra. If you'd rather skip the waist tie, the Roam Go Anywhere Dress ($66) is the simpler choice: a collared, short-sleeve, straight-cut midi you can throw on with loafers and walk out the door.

Percale or sateen sheets?

Pact's bedding comes in two weaves. The Cool-Air Percale is described as ultra-light 400-thread-count percale. It's the crisp, matte option for people who kick the covers off at 2 a.m. The Room Service Sateen is a lightweight 300-thread-count sateen with a smoother, silkier hand. Pact lists the exact dimensions too. A queen fitted sheet is 60" × 80" with a 15" pocket.

Sizing and fit, answered

Most styles run XS–2XL, and select items go to 3XL. Pact says most pieces run true to size, and inseams are listed in the Size & Fit tab of each product. One honest note: the clothes are pre-washed, but organic cotton can still shrink about 0.5–1 inch in length. Wash cold and tumble dry low, which is exactly what Pact recommends anyway.
