Men's Wearhouse Review 2026: Suits, Tailoring and Rentals Ready Before the Big Day?

The invitation is on the fridge. The interview is Thursday. Or your buddy just texted "you're a groomsman, by the way". Suddenly you need a jacket that sits right on your shoulders, trousers that break cleanly over your shoes, and a shirt that won't wilt by the second toast. You also need all of it before the date, not three weeks after.
That's the moment Men's Wearhouse is built for. It sells suits, sport coats, shirts, shoes and accessories, and it rents tuxedos. It also tailors what you buy in 600+ stores across the U.S. We went through its lineup, prices, services and policies in October 2026. Here's what's worth your money and how to pay less for it.
The Story: A Suit Shop That Never Stopped at Checkout
Men's Wearhouse says it has spent more than 50 years helping people "love the way they look," and its old tagline, "You're Going to Like the Way You Look," still runs on the site today. It now runs 600+ stores nationwide. For rentals, it has teamed up with sister brand Jos. A. Bank, so you can get measured, pick up and drop off a rental across 800+ locations. You can start a rental in one city and return it in another.
The racks carry a long list of labels you'll know: Joseph Abboud, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole's Awearness line, Pronto Uomo, Nautica, Haggar, Florsheim, Cole Haan and Johnston & Murphy. There's a full Big & Tall department as well. Sport coats run from 34 Short up to 60 Regular, plus 1X–4X and LT–4XLT.
What Makes It Different: The Services Behind the Suit
Plenty of stores sell a navy suit. Men's Wearhouse sells you the suit and then keeps looking after it. According to its About and Services pages:
- Tailors at every location. Sample prices: shortening sleeves costs $20 on a Men's Wearhouse garment ($30 on clothes bought elsewhere), and adding darts to a shirt is $20 ($30). So that off-the-rack shirt can look like it was cut for you.
- Same-day hemming. The FAQ says tailors will hem pants while you wait, and other basic alterations can be done within 24 hours on request. Handy when the event is this weekend.
- Free re-alterations for life on a seam they've altered, within the limits of the garment. If you lose or gain a little, the fix doesn't cost you again.
- Lifetime free pressing on suits, sport coats and dress slacks bought from Men's Wearhouse, as often as you like. Most items can be pressed during your visit.
- Wardrobe consulting. Stylists will help you plan an event look or a full closet refresh. You can book an appointment online.

Here's a cross-section of what we found, with regular prices and the sale prices we saw in October 2026.
| Product | Price | Buy this if… |

| Pronto Uomo Platinum Modern Fit Premium Wool Blend Blazer | $199.99 (seen at $179.99) | You want a full-lined, 2-button blazer with a touch of stretch |
| Awearness Kenneth Cole CHILLFLEX Slim Fit Dress Shirt | $69.99 | Your days run long and you'd rather toss your shirt in the washer |
| Awearness Kenneth Cole CHILLFLEX Quarter Zip | $49.99 | You need a layer that works for the office and the weekend |
| Joseph Abboud Slim Fit Comfort Stretch Jeans | $19.99 on clearance (was $69.99) | You want pre-hemmed stretch denim at a clearance price |
| Nunn Bush Fitz Flex Cap Toe Oxfords | $109.99 (seen at $82.49) | You're on your feet all day in dress shoes |
| Tux or suit rental package | 2-piece from $99.99; 9-piece from $199.99 with Perfect Fit | You need a matched look for one big day |
Joseph Abboud or Pronto Uomo: which blazer?
Both are modern-fit, 2-button, notch-lapel, full-lined and side-vented. The Joseph Abboud is 98% wool with 2% spandex, so it's the pick if you want that drier, richer wool hand. The Pronto Uomo Platinum is 52% wool, 45% polyester and 3% spandex, and its regular price is $50 lower. Buy the Abboud if this is your one forever blazer. Buy the Pronto Uomo if you want a sharp navy jacket without stretching the budget. Both come in Short, Regular and Long lengths.
CHILLFLEX: for the guy who runs warm
Awearness Kenneth Cole's CHILLFLEX line is built around stretch and breathability. The slim-fit dress shirt is 76% nylon and 24% spandex with 4-way stretch, a spread collar and machine-wash care. That means you can reach, drive and dance in it, then wash it at home instead of at the cleaner. The quarter zip (90% polyester, 10% spandex) is listed as moisture-wicking with a reflective trim detail inside the back collar. Kenneth Cole says a contribution from Awearness products goes toward helping veterans move into the workforce.
Buy or rent for the wedding?
If you'll wear the suit again for work, buying and having it tailored makes sense. You also get free pressing for life. If it's a black tux for one night, or a groomsmen look that has to match, renting is easier. Every rental includes measurements and a fitting. You can ship it to your door for free or pick it up at any Men's Wearhouse or Jos. A. Bank store. To return it, drop it in-store or mail it back with the return slip. The 6-piece package (jacket, pants, shirt, tie, shoes, socks) starts at $149.99 with Perfect Fit.

Men's Wearhouse FAQ
Can Men's Wearhouse tailor clothes I bought online?

How does free shipping work?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $99 before taxes, on Ship to Store orders, and on every order for Perfect Fit Rewards members.
Do I need to go in-store for a rental?
Every rental includes measurements and a fitting, which you can book in-store, including at Jos. A. Bank locations. The rental can then ship to your door for free or wait for you at a store.
What's the return window?
90 days from the purchase date, with free return shipping to the Returns Center. Final sale items can't be returned. Returns after 90 days in store get in-store credit only.
Our Verdict
Men's Wearhouse is less about one hero product and more about the whole fitting-room experience: big-name suits and blazers, tailors in every store, same-day hems, free lifetime pressing and a 90-day return window. Pick the Joseph Abboud blazer if you want lasting wool, CHILLFLEX if you run warm, and a rental package if it's a one-night black-tie affair.
