Éterne Style Guide 2026: Five Fall Looks Straight From Chloé Bartoli's Own Edits

The most stylish woman in the room is rarely wearing the loudest thing. She's in a grey tee, perfect jeans and a black beanie, and somehow it looks like a decision rather than an accident. That quiet, put-together look is exactly what Éterne founder Chloé Bartoli spent her styling career building.

Now she shows her formulas in public. Éterne's "Styled by Chloé" pages break the fall wardrobe into ready-made looks, piece by piece. We went through the Fall Essentials, Evening and Mushroom edits in October 2026 and turned five of her looks into outfits you can copy, with the real prices and the fabric details that make each one work.

Who This Guide Is For

It's for anyone who owns one or two Éterne pieces and wants to know what to wear them with, and for shoppers who would rather buy a complete outfit than a random tee. Each formula below comes straight from the brand's own edits, so the proportions have already been worked out for you.

Chloé's Fall Formula, in One Line

Look through the edits and a pattern appears: one soft piece, one structured piece, one finishing touch. A modal or jersey top, rigid denim or twill below, and a beanie, sock or vest to finish. Colors stay tight: black, heather grey, cream and a new shade the brand calls Mushroom.

Look 1: Grey Tee, Rigid Jeans, Black Beanie

This is the weekend uniform from the Fall Essentials edit, which the brand calls "a capsule of Fall styles designed for everyday dressing." It starts with the Ringer Baby Tee in Dark Heather Grey ($125), an ultra-soft cotton blend with a slim fit and cropped length, so it sits right at the waistband without tucking.

Below it, the Chevy Jean in Medium Indigo ($495): midweight 100% rigid Italian denim, low-rise, slim and straight. Rigid denim holds its shape, which is why the cropped tee looks sharp rather than sloppy. Chloé finishes it with the Dillon Beanie in black ($295), made from the brand's teddy-textured cashmere, and a cream Classic Ribbed Sock ($20) peeking out of a loafer or sneaker.

Wear it: Saturday errands, a farmers market, a casual lunch. Swap the beanie for bare hair once it warms up.

Look 2: All-Black Cashmere Layers

For colder days, Chloé goes tonal and soft from top to bottom. The base is the Brock Sweater in black waffle ($675), a relaxed crewneck in textured waffle cashmere. Over it goes the Leroy Vest ($375), a slim, cropped cashmere vest, and below the Cruz Pant ($495), a relaxed cashmere trouser that the brand says can sit low or mid-rise.

The trick is texture. Three black pieces would look flat in one fabric, but waffle knit under a smooth vest gives the outfit depth. Wear it: a cold flight, a dinner at a friend's house, or a slow Sunday when you still want to look dressed. It's a splurge at $1,545 for the set, so start with the piece you'd wear most on its own.

Look 3: The Liquid Jersey Evening Set

The Evening Edit is "a capsule of black styles designed for elevated evening dressing," and this look is the easiest to copy. The Anouk Top ($495) and Elsa Midi Skirt ($325) are both cut from the brand's ultra-soft liquid jersey. The top is relaxed and slightly cropped; the skirt is slim and midi-length. Together they read like a dress, but you can split them up later.

Wear it: a holiday party or a gallery opening, with a sleek bun and one piece of gold jewelry. The next morning, the Elsa works with a Boxy Tee and sneakers.

Look 4: Mushroom Twill, Head to Toe

The Mushroom Edit is built around one warm, earthy neutral, described as "designed for versatile layering and everyday wear." Here, Chloé stacks four pieces in the same family. The Cody Jacket ($595) is 100% cotton twill with a relaxed, boxy shape. It matches the Banjo Pant ($425), also cotton twill, relaxed with a straight leg. Under the jacket goes the Francis Sweater in Mushroom cashmere ($375), slim and slightly cropped, with an ivory Short Sleeve Boxy Tee ($115) underneath for a flash of contrast at the hem.

Wear it: the office on a Friday, or a weekend trip where you want one outfit to do everything. Without the jacket, the sweater and pant still look complete.

Look 5: The Puffer-and-Sweats Off-Duty Look

The final look proves sweats can leave the house. The Down Puffer in Mushroom ($625) has a premium duck down fill and a relaxed, plush feel. Under it, the heather grey Cropped Crewneck Sweatshirt ($265) and Classic Sweatpant ($225), both in ultra-soft French terry. The cropped top keeps the proportions from turning shapeless under a big coat. Chloé adds the Logo Sport Sock to finish.

Wear it: school drop-off, the airport, a cold walk with coffee.

Styling FAQ

Where can I see all of Chloé's looks?

On eterne.com under "Styled By Chloé," which includes the Fall Essentials, Evening, Mushroom and Cream edits, each split into numbered looks.

What color is "Mushroom"?

It's the brand's name for a warm, earthy neutral used across twill, cashmere and outerwear in the Mushroom Edit.

Can I wear the evening pieces during the day?

The brand describes both the Anouk Top and Elsa Midi Skirt as essentials "for day to night," so yes. Pair the skirt with a tee and sneakers.

Do the jeans need breaking in?

The Chevy Jean is 100% rigid Italian denim with no stretch listed, so expect a firmer feel than stretch jeans.

The Bottom Line

You don't need a stylist to dress like Éterne's founder. You need her formula: one soft piece, one structured piece, one finishing touch, all in a tight palette. Choose the look closest to your real week, start with one or two pieces, and check our Éterne deals page before you order.
